Gifts For Writers and Artists
As a writer, and artist, I spend a lot of time in my office. I thought it would be fun to add some products to my website of my favorite things. These are products that I have personally purchased or were given as a gift. (As an Amazon Affiliate, I do earn from qualifying purchases). The Due Date coasters were bought from a friend of mine as gifts to our book club. They’re adorable, and remind me of a time when library cards were stamped. The popcorn popper was an exchange gift this year, and I love it! I use it in the microwave and it only needs a bit of butter on the top – no oil. The tea was a gift and honestly, is the best tea, I’ve ever had. It’s kind of pricey, but I came down with COVID over Christmas and this tea made me feel loved. I ordered two more boxes; another one for me, and another one for a friend. I’m passing along the feelings of comfort and hope you enjoy it, too.
The Kolinsky sable paint brushes are my favorite. Although they are meant to be used with watercolors, I receive fabulous results with oils. You just need to make sure you wash them with Dawn dishwashing soap. They are the best! The Art-n-Fly battery operated eraser really works, with any sketches and it’s just fun. Two of my many favorite art books are Illustrated with paintings from John Singer Sargent, and Mary Cassatt. Just amazing . . .
It’s been interesting trying to figure out how to print labels and display my books. The following items are all new to me, but so far the printer is working great for sending out packages. The Acrylic Brochure box was a neat find. It’s not very deep, which is handy. I used it at Barnes & Noble for my book sale, although I think it would be cute to use in a child’s room to hold a few favorite books or to organize papers on a desk. Hope you enjoy my purchases!
